Meet our Teachers

LANA BURNETT - Head Associate

Lana started physical culture at the age of 4 right through to her teenage years. After starting a family, Lana returned to physie in 2005 & won Novice Ladies section at Ladies Nationals and has continued competing for the past 18 years both individually and in team events, representing her clubs at a national level many times. For a very long time she has dreamed of opening a Physie club and now that her daughters are older, she is excited to start this new journey with two of her physie friends. Lana understands the significant role of a physie teacher plays in the lives of her students. She has been lucky enough throughout her physie life to be guided by influential teachers, mentors and friends, all in which have helped her be the passionate physie lady she is today. Lana looks forward to sharing her love and passion for physie and can't wait to share this amazing new venture at Westside Physie Club.

Nat’s physie journey started at the age of 7 through to early teens where she competed at National level every year. She returned to physie throughout the years but reignited her love for the sport when her eldest daughter started in 2016. Since then she has enjoyed getting fit while having fun and strives to achieve a new physie goal each year. Nat’s goal as a teacher is to ensure that all students feel empowered, confident and supported so they can achieve their goals and form a love of our great sport. Nat has an eye for detail & she is looking forward to working alongside Lana this year.

Izzy’s love for physie started from a young age. A highlight of Izzy's physie journey is placing 5th at Senior National Finals at the Sydney Opera House. Izzy has a beautiful way of connecting with students, finding out their reason for being a physie girl and then helping them to be the best they can be. Whether you attend physie for fun and friendship or high level competition, Izzy brings a passion for building strength, flexibility and performance in our members. Izzy looks forward to sharing her love and passion for physie and is excited to be part of the Westside Physie teaching team as her first year as a BjP associate. When Izzy isn’t doing physie, she enjoys spending time with friends & is currently studying at University to become a Science Teacher.
